Dubai: Hatta’s picturesque hills will be the center of attention among UAE’s sports and adventure enthusiasts once Dubai Sports Council (DSC) prepares an exciting package of community events for the region, launching a single women’s program on 23 October .
Organized by the DSC in partnership with Hatta Adventures, Al Hajarain Restaurant and Hatta Kayak, the ‘Women’s Adventure Hatta’ begins at 7 a.m. with a hike through the mountains followed by kayaking. The ‘Women’s Adventure Hatta’ event is open to women aged 16-60, and those wishing to participate can register by sending an email to [email protected] or calling + 971-54-9988789.
The second event on the list is the ‘Stand-Up Paddling’ competition, which takes place on October 30 on Lake Hatta. The event is organized in collaboration with the Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) and Hatta Adventures and is available to men and women between the ages of 16 and 60.
A ‘Yoga and Rowing’ expedition is planned for 20 November. The event is offered for men and women, between the ages of 16-60 years, and is organized in collaboration with Arabian Epic and Hatta Adventures.
The DSC will once again partner with Arabian Epic and Hatta Adventures to host the ‘Garmin Quest Race’ on 18 December. The race will be open to men and women aged 16-60, which includes kayaking, running and mountain biking. Then on January 1, 2021, there will be an Arab Epic mountain bike race, open to men and women aged 16 to 60 years.
