Saudi Arabia reports 1,287 new COVID-19 cases, 42 deaths

Up to 1,385 cases have recovered, bringing the number of recoveries to 275,476.

Riyadh, August 20, 2020 — The Saudi Ministry of Health today announced that 1,287 new confirmed cases of novel coronavirus, COVID-19, have been reported in the kingdom, bringing the total to 303,973 cases, including 24,949 active cases under treatment.
Of these, there are 1,682 critical cases, while the health of the rest is stable, said Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali, deputy health minister and spokesman for the health ministry.
He added that 42 new deaths were reported; death toll to 3,548.
Up to 1,385 cases have recovered, bringing the number of recoveries to 275,476.
