The best temperatures are likely to stay below 40°C while in Abu Dhabi and Dubai another day of mid-30 highs is on the cards.
In Dubai, the forecast is for a 36°C maximum while Abu Dhabi will only get to 35°C.
The interior could reach 39°C with up to 80 per cent humidity.
Along the coast and islands, the maximum is likely to be 36°C with 85 per cent humidity, and the mountains are expected to hit 32°C with 65 per cent humidity.
The National Centre of Meteorology said Sunday would be generally fair and partly cloudy at times.
There will be light to moderate winds, freshening at times.
The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Sea of Oman.
